본 부록은 "가정용 제품 및 유사 가전제품 – 안전성 – 전기 히트 펌프, 에어컨 및 제습기의 특정 요건"에 관한 이집트 표준 ES 7278의 준수를 위해 생산업체와 수입업체에 6개월의 전환기간을 제공하는 장관령 No. 499/2023(4페이지, 아랍어)의 통보에 관한 것이다(327페이지, 영어).
앞서 2016년 8월 15일자 G/TBT/N/EGY/157로 통지된 장관령 No. 241/2016(3페이지, 아랍어)은 무엇보다도 본 표준의 이전 버전을 의무화하였다.
본 표준은 IEC 60335-2-40:2022의 기술 내용을 채택한다.
생산업체와 수입업체는 행정명령을 관보에 게시함으로써 이집트 표준의 모든 개정 사항을 지속적으로 알 수 있다.

Air-conditionersThis addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No. 499 /2023 (4 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a six-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 7278 for " household and similar electrical appliances - safety - particular requirements for electrical heat pumps, air-conditioners and dehumidifiers” (327 page(s), in English).
