On 2 November 2023, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) released to the public proposed sections 3000, 3001, 3002, 3003, 3004, 3005, 3006, 3007, 3008, 3009, 3010, and 3011, Title 13, California Code of Regulations (CCR) and proposed amendments to sections 2433 and 2775.1, Title 13, CCR, which would reduce criteria pollutants and greenhouse gas emission within the State from forklifts with large spark-ignition engines. CARB has determined that additional modifications are appropriate for the proposed amendments and has developed the proposed modifications as stated in the "Summary of Proposed Regulatory Modifications" section of the 15-Day Notice. CARB has also included updates to the Staff Report and the Notice of Public Hearing that were released on 7 November 2023. Written comments will only be accepted on the modifications identified in this 15-Day Notice.
