싱가포르의 MELS(에너지효율 라벨링 의무규정)와 MEPS(최소에너지효율표준)는 각각 2008년과 2011년에 시행된 정책 조치로, 싱가포르에서 사용되는 규제 제품의 평균 에너지 효율을 높이는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적에 따라 MELS와 MEPS는 2025년 4월 1일부터 모든 온수기 및 상업용 저장 냉장고로 확대 적용된다.

Singapore's Mandatory Energy Labelling Scheme (MELS) and Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS), implemented in 2008 and 2011 respectively, are policy measures to raise the average energy efficiency of regulated goods used in Singapore. In line with this ive, MELS and MEPS will be extended to all water heaters and commercial storage refrigerators from 1 April 2025.
