Resolution No: 24-0911-07 – This document is the signed resolution documenting the approval and adoption of the 2025 amendments to the Building Energy Efficiency Standards and associated materials.The Building Energy Efficiency Standards apply to residential, non-residential, and hotel and motel buildings. The standards are in Part 6 (also known as the “California Energy Code” or “Energy Code”) and associated administrative regulations in Part 1Chapter 10, of Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR). The Building Energy Efficiency Standards also include the Reference ices. The revised standards are called the 2025 Building Energy Efficiency Standards (2025 Energy Code), and include the comprehensive regulations, including Parts 1 and 6 and the Reference ices, as noticed on 13 June 2024 (notified in G/TBT/N/USA/1336/Rev.1/Add.1) and updated with amended provisions noticed on 22 August 2024 for an additional 15-day public comment period (notified in G/TBT/N/USA/1336/Rev.1/Add.3), and as further revised by this Resolution (the Final Proposed Express Terms), including the errata and provisions the California Energy Commission (CEC) declines to adopt, as identified in ix A.
