이 문서는 전기자동차 충전 파일에 대한 에너지 효율 등급, 최소 에너지 효율 허용값 및 시험 방법을 규정한다. 이 문서는 전력망 측에서 정격 전압이 1000V(AC)를 초과하지 않고 전기자동차 측에서 최대 정격 전압이 1000V(AC) 또는 1500V(DC)를 초과하지 않는 직류(DC) 전원공급장치(모드 4, 연결 방법 C) 및 교류(AC) 전원공급장치(모드 3, 연결 방법 B 또는 C)를 비롯하여 전류 제어 및/또는 전압 제어 기능이 있는 오프보드 전도성 전원공급장치에 적용한다. 이 문서는 다음 장치에는 적용하지 않는다. — 전력망 측에서 직류(DC) 전력만 제공하는 전원공급장치 — 모드 2 충전용 케이블 일체형 제어 및 보호 장치(IC-CPD) — 에너지 저장 기능이 비활성화되면 충전 기능이 없는 통합 충전 및 에너지 저장 장치 — 자동 충전 또는 상단 접촉 충전을 위한 전원공급장치

This document specifies the energy efficiency grades, minimum allowable values of energy efficiency, and testing methods of electric vehicle charging piles. This document applies to off-board conductive power supply equipment with current control and/or voltage control, including direct current (DC) power supply equipment (Mode 4, Connection Method C) and alternating current (AC) power supply equipment (Mode 3, Connection Method B or C), with a rated voltage not exceeding 1000 V (AC) on the power supply network side and a rated maximum voltage not exceeding 1000 V (AC) or 1500 V (DC) on the electric vehicle side. This document does not apply to： — Power supply equipment that only provides direct current (DC) power on the power supply network side; — In-Cable Control and Protection Devices (IC-CPD) for Mode 2 charging; — Integrated charging and energy storage devices that do not have charging functions when the energy storage function is disabled; — Power supply equipment for automatic charging or top-contact charging.
