Air- conditioners)This addendum concerns the notification of the Ministerial Decree No.142/2024 (2 pages, in Arabic) that gives the producers and importers a twelve-month transitional period to abide by the Egyptian Standard ES 7821 for " energy efficiency of household electrical appliances - methods for measuring and calculating energy efficiency of electric circulating air fans " (20 pages, in Arabic).It should be noted that the Ministerial Decree No. 975/2014 (3 pages, in Arabic) which was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/77/Corr.1 dated 1 June 2015 mandated among others the earlier version of this Standard and the draft of this standard was formerly notified in G/TBT/N/EGY/77/Add.1 dated 4 April 2024.
